British is everything a breeder could hope for in a Welsh stallion.
He is a joy to handle year-round, maintaining his kind and easy-going disposition even during breeding season. He peacefully coexists with both geldings and other stallions, making him an uncomplicated and reliable presence on the farm. His striking appearance is a direct reflection of his exceptional pedigree, representing the sought-after Eyarth and Mynach lines that I dreamed of incorporating into my breeding program here in the United States.
British is homozygous red (ee) and homozygous agouti (AA), also carrying the flaxen gene. He reliably passes agouti to his foals, producing chestnut (often flaxen), bay, and, when paired with cream-carrying mares, palomino and buckskin offspring. His foals are known for their bold splash markings, extensive white, belly spots, wide blazes, and the occasional blue eye.
